Electrode plate treatment requires the use of a crusher to break the electrode plate into particles, and then a roller to separate the lead sludge attached to the electrode plate. The electrode plates can be directly smelted into alloy ingots, while the lead sludge requires further treatment. The treatment of lead sludge includes reacting with alkali to separate soluble sulfate and insoluble lead-containing particles; reacting insoluble lead particles with inorganic acid to generate lead inorganic acid salt solution, and then reacting with soluble carbonate to precipitate lead; finally, the precipitated lead particles are roasted at 350°C to generate lead oxide.

The dismantled lead blocks can be smelted into lead ingots with a purity of 97% or more through a smelting furnace. The plastic shells can be reused by crushing them into pellets through a crusher.

In terms of equipment, the dismantling machine is used to dismantle the battery, cut the battery cover, and separate the various parts. The crusher is used to crush the battery shell cover, electrode plate, and plastic shell for subsequent processing. A water flotation device is used to separate plastic particles and metal particles (lead, copper). A drum separator is used to separate the lead sludge from the electrode plates. The smelting furnace is used to smelt the lead lumps to make high-purity lead ingots.
